8 lugs on a Ford 9 rear?

has anyone seen or installed 8 lug hubs on a 9" ford rear? I seem to be finding a lot of heavy dana 44 8 lug axles for the front of my truck but wanted to keep my 9" rear. If I can I will just swap in 8 lug ends on the rear I have. Possible or not? Advisable or not? Any help is appreciated.

You would need to have new axles made or I have see a few that have been converted to a fill floater like a dana 60. Why not just convert the front end to 5 lug way easier and you can use factory parts that are available. just put the 5 lug dana 44 stuff, spindles, brakes and hubs on the 8 lug dana 44 just about that easy.

1959 was the first year that 4WD was factory installed in F100/250's, Both came with Spicer(Dana) 44's thru the 70's, but F100's have 5 lug wheels, F250's have 8 lug wheels.
