Nice looking setup, Byron.
Everyone's setups are so nice, I feel like I'm in the low-rent district with my trailer. ;) My setup has performed wonderfully for us, so as long as the roof holds up, we'll keep using it. It appears the previous owner did not proper seal/dry out the roof leakage. I patched some large tears in the roof after I got it, and sealed the patches and roof well, but the wood under the interior covering is showing signs of fuzzy stuff. :'( I have no idea how far the damage extends and estimates to this day are higher than the trailer's value. Can a portion of the roof be replaced? Or does the entire roof need to be replaced? Maybe this question should be in a different thread. I'm just sort of thinking out loud today. :-blah |

I'm still a greenhorn at towing/camping. Taking our new TT on our 4th camping trip this weekend, going to venture 2 hours from home, farthest to date.

Here is our 1994 F-350 CrewCab Dually, 7.3L IDI Turbo pulling our 1990 Fleetwood Prowler Regal 34K (34' 6" length).
Hitch used: Reese frame mounted 2" Receiver V-5 rated for 12,000lb when used with weight distributing hitch. Curt 10,000 lb round bar weight distributing hitch with friction sway control. Just completed a trip to Gulf Shores (about 300 miles ea. way), Truck towed it like a dream.. No problems whatsoever. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...c76cdf96b2.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...fbf7ac1a02.jpg |

The Jayco is a nice trailer.
Is that a "kid alert" I spy? Man, haven't seen one of those for a long time. |

Nice setup! This looks about like my rig, just an older model of trailer.
I just spent the past few months totally remodeling the interior. If you'd like to see it,here is a link to my album on Tinypic. Trailer - Album - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting |
Have had this for about five years or so. Got it for $900 and everything worked. Used it quite a bit at first but not so much since out son was born. Got Nother one on the way so we a are looking to upgrade next year. Something bigger and more kid friendly. But for what we wanted at the time it was perfect!
Opens up to about 24 feet and has tons of storage. Nothing fancy but better than a tent :) https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.for...3e47d48aac.jpg 1979 starcraft popup That and i wanted to try uploading something from my new phone :) |
