This is our Slide-in on our old F250. We have since got an F350 Dually. Much better for carrying & towing all that weight.

Hmmmm, that looks like the far end of the Beverley Beach C.G. Believe I have
camped in that same spot. Nice and cool on a hot summer day...

Yup, exactly where we were. First time there, won't be our last.

This is our current setup, a 2011 F-150 4WD Supercrew XLT Ecoboost and a 2015 Jayco 27RLS. The trailer is about 30' hitch to bumper and weight is 7500 lbs. Will be moving up to a 2015 F-250 6.2L Gas 4WD Crewcab this weekend.https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7678/1...687b6df7_c.jpghttps://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7756/1...45a32884_c.jpghttps://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7675/1...3b55bb4a_c.jpg

Why the change? This set up looks pretty sweet. Going to a 5'er, perhaps?

The Ecoboost has plenty of power and it tows very nice on flat smooth roads. Throw a little wind or bumpy roads in and its the tail wagging the dog. The truck has the tow pkg. not the max tow so my payload is only 1490 lbs. Hook the trailer up (1050-1100 lb tongue weight), put my wife and I and the dog in the truck and we're bumping on the payload max. I want to be able to load my bed racks on with a kayak, stand up paddle boards, take a couple of people along, etc. and not worry about loading. The F-250 will have more payload left after the trailer is hooked up than the F-150 has in total. The F-150 has 90,000 miles, time for a change:)
