need help to disassemble bed
Does anyone have a diagram or pics on how to take the taillight panel and the bed sides off my 1959 styleside? I see all the spot welds and know I need to cut them I just want to know where to start.

Im tempted to say at the begining so I will...... LOL.....:-X04... I have those to do on both of my 4x4s with stylesides. I suppose I will start by grinding or wire brushing away every place that it looks like there will be a spot weld holding things together and start cutting them out and see how it goes. I do think that when the time comes to put that rear panel back on I would investigate some of the new adhesives I have been seeing that just glue the panel back on. They are said to be very strong and hold as good as welding..... hummmmm we will see. Good luck post up pics of how that goes for you. I will be watching and just thought I forgot I know have a 57 with a styleside bed too. That makes 3 I will have to do..... :-wink
