Looking good!

Nice ride!!!!!! I'd love to see a black pin stripe along the length of the truck just to break up all that silver a little.

Looks good.
As for shocks. Lots of guys go the Bilstein and Rancho route. Both are decent choices. I've gone with a company out of Colorado that is privately branding shocks alongside their sister company. Details in my sig, or PM me for more info. They aren't a vendor here so I need to respect the public forum rules. |
Nice looking Truck. I like everything except the gas mileage. I bought Bilstein 4600's for my tuck. I had them on my 08 and loved them. It's been too cold to install them on my current Truck, I may just give in and pay to have them done.

Looks great...I really like the blue led lights. I'm going to go with the Rancho 9000 series shocks since they are adjustable. Look down in the Vendor section and you can see that they gave me a hint that they might be on sale in March, otherwise they are always on sale in Oct.
Have you weighed your foot lately? I just figure it must be pretty heavy to get the 12.5 mpg average. |
Really sweet ride.

heavy foot
Ya....live in SoCal where you drive fast or die!! lol. Just filled up so this represents city driving with a heavy foot. Gotta ease up a little but it's way to much effing fun putting your foot in it and blowing the doors off the snobs in their Mercedes SUV's and kids in their rice rockets. Still stoked though, even with my lead foot I'm going over 500+ miles on a tank!! }> :-X22

Lookin' good! :-X22

Nice truck, but K&N filter is a downgrade, ditch that POS.

I recommend the King OEM Performance shocks... I have them, I love them.
Though it is worth mentioning that they are not cheap, they can be adjusted to +2.5" lift for "leveling" your truck (this wouldn't work for you if you have a hockey puck already in yours unless you throw it away. Though if you go this route, the King coil overs increase travel, so changing your UCA's is definitely recommended. I went with ICON uni-balls. If you dont like the price on the Kings, you can check out Icon's offerings or Fox (if you like Fox stuff like EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON ive ever talked to) Stage 3 motorsports carries the Icon stuff, offroadshocks.com carries the King stuff. |

Speaking of pinstripes was at Peoria Ford today and the salesperson told me all their '15s have the pinstriping added it was part of BS dealer "upgrade" package to the tune of $2,700 which included nitrogen filled tires a bed liner and so on ,even went so far as to tell me that is how they come it's not optional.....am I really supposed to believe this guy :-X19 .....good lord .....I ejected anyways once they informed me I couldn't drive one by my lonesome for insurance reasons. ....which is odd because I'm pretty sure my own insurance covers me on anything I drive......so on way home I contacted Bell Ford and was informed that I CAN take one home for a couple hours......will be there next weekend :-jammin
My wife's last vehicle came off the lot and had tint, etching, etc. installed. We simply refused to pay it and told them to get to work removing it all. Of course, they didn't, and we didn't pay a dime. Make sure you have this discussion *after* you get the vehicle's price negotiated! |
Great looking truck amigo. Aftermarket parts are easy to find but choosing the right ones is key. You have made some nice choices. Not over done yet unique. I'm hoping to do the puddle lights and LED interiors as you have. Blue looks slick!
