56 roof repair with 55 roof?
 

Looking to see if anyone has tried using panels cut from a 55 roof to repair the roof of a 56.
I have rust above the drip rails and just thought maybe cutting the compound corners out of the good roof to use in mine. Just wasnt sure as the cabs are different, but most of the differences seem to be below the drip rails from what I could see, but I didn't have them side by side.

I would think that would work. Can you get them side by side to measure them?

Does the donor truck have good front fenders? I am looking for them.
