2015 Sync unpairs when switching to bluetooth audio
So when I tell the truck to "play bluetooth audio" it tells me to use the screen, and then disconnects the phone from the truck completely. This a newer development, and it happens more often than not, and I can't figure out why sometimes it does this, and sometimes it doesn't. Every other interface between the phone and the truck works like it should.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that has experienced this. Suggestions? |

I don't use bluetooth audio, but almost every day my whole sync system (USB and bluetooth phone) will freeze and take about 5 minutes to reset itself.
I haven't had a chance to go to the dealer for a while, but hopefully an update can fix it. |
I think the sync is real buggy. I have had problems with mine not finding my phone. I ended up deleting my phone from sync and and sync from my phone. Then paired them again. If I start my truck, then get out and maybe go near it and away from it a few times, it will drop my phone and not pair it up again until I shut the truck off and start over.

If your phone isn't connecting after you've walked more than 30 feet away from it, you can connect it to the vehicle by going into your phone's Bluetooth menu, and selecting SYNC. Jaclyn |
I don't have any issues with the phone but I keep my iPod plugged into the usb 24/7 and sync will occasionally forget it or will say there is no usb device. (SORRY FOR THE HI-JACK
