Rear fuel tank strap
 

I've spent the last hour online searching parts stores trying to find the fuel tank straps for the rear tank. My truck is a cab and chassis and the tank must be a larger option. Every set I find is a strait set of straps, mine need to be "U" shaped because the tank hangs down below the cross member. Any body know where I can order some? My rear tank is hanging by a ratchet strap.

I might be wrong, but I think all the straps are flat, cheaper to ship and store them that way... You bend them at install to fit the tank.

Given that... can you measure the old straps and check the length against what you find in parts listings?

Option - use the stock straps (e.g. Spectra ST16), and get longer bolts and spacers. As a guide, check out the pic of the install kit that comes with this tank:

I done have any of the old straps to measure. New York State rust got there first. I guess I'm going to have to do some fabricating. Thanks for your help.
