Factory Remote Starter
I just picked up my new 2015 F350 last week from my dealer. I was super excited about getting the truck that I had on order for 10 weeks. I went through line by line with the dealer and told every option I wanted but when the truck showed up, they missed putting on the remote start. The dealer is making it right and is putting a genuine Ford starter on. My question is, how good are these starters and does anyone know how they install them? More directly is there going to be splices and antennas ran through the head liner? I really like the idea of having the starter installed at the factory and not having a dealer go in afterwards.

The remote start kit from Ford is pretty much plug and play with no antenna on the windshield. Ford part number is BC3Z-19G364-A and included two IKT's.

"...how good are these starters..."
It works. It's that good. |
had the ford gold remote starters on each of my 3 excursions - never had an issue and actually liked it better than the one I had and have on 2012 lariat and 2013 platinum - so he may have done you a favor :)

I have the factory starter on my 2014. It works great; starts every time and he range is very good.
