New to the site. Picked this guy up today. 2011 King Ranch 6.7L. Looking forward to learning all the ins and out.

nice. My local Ford dealer has had one identical to yours sitting on the lot for most of the summer. At first I didn't like that color combo but now I really think it looks good.

That is an awesome truck there, drive it and enjoy it. You might want to get some gauges to monitor what the truck is doing, like scangauge, torque pro, etc etc. There is sites here in the forum about this and any other questions that you my have. "Larks"...Welcome to the forum. I'm pretty new too. That color you have has quickly become my favorite as I've read through the various threads of this forum.

Your truck looks outstanding...basically brand new. Do you plan to do any modifications to it or pull any trailers, boats, etc...?

As much as I would have loved a diesel for our boat pulling, the V10 fit our budget better. Maybe someday we'll go that route...fingers crossed. :)

Whats that decal say under the king ranch emblem? Those wheels really look great! (cant imagine what a replacement would cost though!)

Any feedback here on oil change routine? Someone suggested to me T6 oil?

Thx. I have a 5th wheel that I use about 4 times a year. I hear I wont even know its back there with this truck.

I suspect that is absolutely true. Even with our V10, we can barely feel ~7,000 lbs. of boat and trailer behind us. This is in comparison to our F150 Supercrew that got wagged all over the road by the boat whenever we pulled it - especially in the wind. Ugh... :-hair

do you live in the rust belt? If so spray the underside of the truck, above rear wheel wells, and inside doors and rockers with fluid film to help slow the corrosion down. I would recommend against having the truck undercoated with anything that dries since the truck would have already been exposed to salt.

depending on how much weight your 5th wheel puts on the truck you might want to add airbags to the rear suspension to help with the sag.

Also keep an eye on the radiator, they are prone to leaking on the 6.7 around the lower hose port.

I run the Rotella synthetic, gets cold up here and the trucks seems to run better. I've been starting to change my oil when the truck tells me lately.
