Looking for a tonneau

there are tons of options.

I would like a hard top version.

Should I go with the fold up kind? The roll up kind?

I want it to be a hard version, not soft cloth version.

I have a short bed crew cab 2014 F250 4x4

anyone have some good advice or even some advice on what to stay away from?

Thanks

Try one of our sponsor's Agri-Cover, inc. (ACI) They have everything from hard to soft, low profile which I recommend. Check them out and tell them your a member of FTE.

I really appreciate you suggesting us, but there's one small issue: we don't make hard covers. We only offer soft rolling tonneau covers.

However, if OP changes his mind about a low-profile soft tonneau cover, I would be happy to hook him up. In fact, if he or anyone else orders direct from us (.agricover.com - Online Store Home), they can type "BLUEOVAL" into the promo code box at checkout and get 15% off their purchase price.

BAK makes a folding hard cover. Nice quality but too pricey for me

I love my BakFlip. Several different versions: hard cover, folds up against rear window so all bed space is available when necessary. No leaks. You can even stand on it if necessary.

Check out DiamondBack Covers I really like mine.

I'll second the diamondback covers. Had one on the previous truck but went to a short bed so it wouldn't fit. You can either get it in diamond plate or linex finished. The heavy duty ones allow 1600lbs top carrying capacity. Great cover that is secure but easily removed if you need the bed open.
