That's an awesome looking truck. Nice find. I wil be interested to read any feedback to this thread. I'm restoring a 65 F250 4wd and I am considering a set of 900-16 they are around 36 tall also. What are your plans for the truck? Thanks for sharing the pics.

37's will be a tight fit on stock height I think. I know 33's will fit no problem I ran them on my 64 with no issues. 35's will fit to but might not depending on what rim offset and tire width you go with.

My plans our to get it back on the road in the next month, the 352 that was in it was pretty tired so I got another 352 out of a 66 Galaxie that I painted up and threw a new cam and stuff into it. I plan on driving the truck this winter and start taking it apart in the fall, body is not too bad of shape. I just wanna throw the biggest tires I can fit on there and also I found some 37in tires fairly cheap

. I assume someone added a few leafs under the rear since I counted 13 leafs on each side.

Here is a pic of the motor, I am pretty happy how it turned out.

lookin nice do you have a dana 44 or 60 front end? thought about doing 37" but not sure the dana 44 solid axle i have will take it.

crazed87bronco 08-20-2014 02:14 PM

37's on a 44 no problem everyone thinks they need a Dana 60 but few ever do...

crazed87bronco 08-20-2014 02:20 PM

Also should be a Dana 44 since Dana 60's were available in the 70's

FordF100man 08-20-2014 02:50 PM

They are goodyear wrangler mt tires military tires 37in. And it is a Dana 44 all stock. Im pretty excited to see what its gonna look like what I have it back together.
