87 ford ranger 2.9 wont start
 
Fuel pump runs continuously and when i pull the return line off the fuel pressure regulator gas just pours out it does have pressure at the rail fuel pump pressure tested good if you hit it with either it will hit so i know its getting fire and its getting fuel to the rail but it wont start just crank and crank and crank whats wrong???? Also fuel pressure regulator is new

Check the coil and you probably have a bad head gasket.....

Having pressure doesn't mean its the right amount, if it hits with either, but won't run, it sounds like the new regulator is bad.
