Good morning everyone.

Mom's doing better this morning. They've decided that a bile duct has been infected and they are doing a procedure to clear it out now. We're back in Springfield this morning waiting to find out if they're going to bring her back to the ICU or assign her to a room.

Laptop is charged up and I have wifi so I'm good to pass the time. :)

Dave glad to hear that all is well and or moving in that direction, hang in there.

Dad and I have been busy this morning. did a little ditch work to get rid of some standing water. Need to have a hole dug so we can get to the water line that's leaking, causing the water to stand. After that we picked up a bunch of scraps of metal laying around and have a bed full that we are going to go get rid of. Hopefully it makes enough to pay for the fuel to get it to the 'yard and back.

Oh, I was able to pick up a couple of high steer arms for the Jeep finally.

Afternoon All!

I got a few cars fixed up and out the door already at the car lot. I'm not sure if I'll make it to the shop this afternoon or not. My butt is dragging these days.

The shop will be closed for a week while I recharge MY battery. Speaking of which, I tried to start EQ last night and somehow I lost the keys. :eek: I guess a new switch and/or some fancy wiring will be in order to remedy the situation.

I get t put a timing belt on my '02 KIA Sportage tomorrow. The jackarses that came up with a belt for timing need to be shot:-arrgh

1120lbs of absolute junk brought in $107. Paid for gas and have enough to get the jeep knuckle turned. Woo!

Update - Mom's doing fantastic. Probably going to spend another night here but might get to go home tomorrow. :)

I got the tube grill back in Ka'Bluey. He's starting to look like his ole' self again. :D

i did not quite get the ford running today. i had to work on the 51 chevy some. and then i realized i didnt have any gas..:(.. i have got it back on the ground and it is very close to being a driver..:)

Hey yall it's been awhile and been uber busy. Southern belle is for sale or trade. I really need a diesel I've started hauling stuff again for extra money and a 1/2 ton just ain't doin it. Unfortunately I'm offering belle to my ext family here before anybody else. I'd trade for a 4x4 diesel, or just sell outright to go buy a diesel. Shoot me offers if interested. Well I made it across the pond (14 hrs worth of flt time later) and am setting in Dubai, where its 33 C or 91 F here and its 22:30.

Spoke too soon or it was just wishful thinking, but docs say Mom is going to be here a couple more days.

Love the blue lights. Back in the day you could buy colored bulbs to replace the clear ones with, but they didn't have the intense colors that the LEDs can supply.

Fat Kid ain't too smart, made certain grandsons had sunblock on but I didn't put any on. Got kinda burnt today, we're in Orange Beach, Alabama for a few days.

At least no one asked if anyone else smelled bacon... :-X22

1. Sale belle (yea that rhymes) use that cash + some more to buy you another diesel 4x4.
2. Trade for a diesel 4x4, and I am sure you might have to pony up some cash.
3. Get on them side jobs.

I am sure there is a diesel 4x4 in Louisiana, somewhere on the C list???

Yea there is but people only wanna offer like 1500? Or 2500 for belle and can't sell that cheap. I'd be fine trading and adding some boot just to even it out some. :) I just really like belles body style

dalton.. good luck finding a "good " diesel be careful you dont get some wore out rig they get spendy when time for repairs..
well i fired the 71 up today sounds real good.. but i took the grille back out trying to get a condenser in it.. i guess nothing i have is going to work:( so i guess i will have to buy a new one if i can find something that will fit it... i am going to just put it together for now and mess with the A/C after i get it road-worthy and legal
alan i need to get with ya and see when would be a good time to bring it up there for your glass guy to instal the stainless trim windshield.. i was also going to dig up some stock 8 hole wheels for the chevy 4x4 so i can get it on the trailer

Good morning all and thanks. Both mornings I've woke up with my older grandson curled up with me, it could be storming all day and I wouldn't care. The weather is awesome and we're right on the beach 15th floor.

Today feels like the day after CQ. We spent 23 hours driving yesterday, so today is "I ain't doin' crap" day.

I still have three wrecks that didn't get done last week. (shocking) That'll happen when the boss keeps changing priorities and the new kid doesn't show up to work. :mad:

I got my valve stem replaced on one of my 38 inch tires on Red today. It will be a relief not to have to fill it up so much!

I got some of my seatbelts from Ol Big Red dyed. Looks 100% better!
