Theft light flashing when driving... did I steal my own truck?!?
 

Just happened the other day and has only happened the once that I can remember:

When I bought mine, mine was blinking like that, six flashes about four or five time. No codes were being thrown, and all we could figure was that the aftermarket radio was causing it. So, I lived with it, but then magically after the reflash was done the other week, the flashing stopped and has not come back.

We never did figure out why it was flashing... :confused:

Mine does it whenever I'm running my IDP tunes. Alex at Innovative Diesel said that for some reason Excursions do this and they have to disable the PATS. But the theft light will still flash code 16 for a couple minutes after starting.

That be the "drive it like you stole it" indicator

DO you have any kind of tuner on it? Mine blinks a few time after start up due to tuner.

I'm running the SCT tuner... apparently with the "drive it like you stole it tune" (Magnus special)
