Loving my "new" 1995 E350 7.3

Ok I have had my van for a month now. I am so loving this awesome, large turbo diesel chariot! drove 900 miles Friday, got 18 miles per gallon, down from the 20 I've been getting which I attribute to the hotter temperatures here in Texas, and I don't know what's up with this van, everything I read says these engines are detuned because of the lack of an intercooler, but man this thing is a rocketship! :-X22 If this engine is detuned and still stock, you guys that have mods on your trucks are lovin' life on the Large.:-drink I got 6 matching captains chairs with a matching bench from a couple of ford chateau vans. Now I am hoping to get a 4 inch turbo back exhaust, which I cannot seem to find for a 95, and then a set of gauges. After that we'll see, as there doesn't seem to be any hope of putting an intercooler on it, and I'm not interested in any meltdowns. Then hopefully by next spring I'll toss in a front axle and a transfer case, and call it good.
If anyone knows where I might be able to get that 4 inch exhaust, please let me know. I have a call in to diamond eye, so we'll see what they have to say.
KEEP YOU POSTED!!!!

I'm not really a diesel guy or that big a fan of them but I'd be interested knowing if an intercooler can be retro-fitted to that engine.

Diamond Eye I assumed is a diesel specialty outfit? I've heard of Bullet Proof Diesel...they seem to be a popular supplier and developer of diesel-related parts.
