Did you have a good holiday Chris???

I did. I got paid for the day ta boot.

That is a great plus.. I have to work the 4th.. Probably ride the bike to work since it will be a short night and supposedly no rain..

That would be nice. No fun working on a holiday though. I think most places are open most holidays anyway. I think most places were open here other than the banks.

I think the manufacturing world and government get the day off..

I guess the government is a given huh. I got a free 12 hrs. pay. I'm fine with that.

I would be good with that as well.. The most I get is 4 hours pay..

I think until sometime last year we would only get 8 hrs. for a stat. Now it's a full 12.

It is good that they give you a bit more..

I'm sure not going to complain. They say don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Or something like that.

That is exactly what they say.. If you feel bad about it, you can send the excess to me..

Did you do anything special for the holiday??

Got out the weed wacker, cut the lawns, watered lawn and plants, scraped the fence. Going to paint.

Sounds like a lot of fun on your to do list..

Ya it was a blast. I started early cause I knew it was going to be hot today. I think we topped out around 31* or so.

We got to 34°C with a ton of humidity..

That's even worse. When I go down to the Vancouver area there is a small town about half way. I normally stop there and pick up a coffee. What a difference. The air feels so heavy, more so when it's hot. It's about an hour and a half from home.

It is supposed to be nice the 3rd and 4th.. Both 0% chance of rain, highs in the mid 80's and low of 60, or less.

Gotta like that. They are calling for hot again tomorrow then cooling a few degress the next 3 or 4 days.

I am going to enjoy it Thursday I have off.
