I agree with Bill, sick looking ride.

Morning Neil. Yeah, I wish I had something like that.

tiny1 07-17-2014 09:28 AM

But you have the Bull :)

svolpone 07-17-2014 09:32 AM

yeah, great truck. that's what i'm trying to get mine to look like. probably cheaper to just buy one.

If money were no object, I'd have one of each from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.

As it stands, I at least have the 90's covered well lol.

svolpone 07-17-2014 09:38 AM

lol bill. yeah. i just wanted a slick though, because i had one when i was younger. i'll get this thing going eventually.

liftnw8z 07-17-2014 09:44 AM

Time and patience, Steve. The Bull is a 4 year "roller" project now (meaning I'm working on it and driving it still), and I've got other things cooking too.

svolpone 07-17-2014 09:49 AM

yeah, i know. and it will be more satisfying knowing that i did a ton of work on it myself.

svolpone 07-17-2014 09:50 AM

or i could buy this one:

1963 Ford F100 Pickup + Original Overdrive

and do a road trip! i'd do it if i could sell mine for close to what i paid for it.

liftnw8z 07-17-2014 09:56 AM

Yeah, it usually is most satisfying when you do the work yourself.

I like the line in the ad - "wife says too many toys." Glad I lack that problem, but my number of toys keeps me out of the dating market too lol.

Good morning Bill, Neil, Pat, Steve, & all that drop in!

The journey down here was pretty uneventful, which is good.

I'm no expert either, but I do know that I'm running a 3:55 right now, and I'm constantly reaching for another gear when I climb even the least of hills. Going to a 3:73 or a 4:10 should help me put power to the ground more effectively.

You know how the Expy runs and that has 3.73's in it.

Hi Scott. where are you? What journey. i missed something.

tiny1 07-17-2014 10:05 AM

Morning Scott, glad to hear everything went well on the trip down.
