Move the Oil Pressure Sender Location?

I'm working on a 62 292. Someone added a mechanical oil pressure gauge in the past and now the plastic tubing is leaking. I'm looking to replace the gauge with an electric unit, but doubt I can get an electrical sender to fit:

Is there any chance I can tap into another location for the sender? Would one of these two locations, just south of the fuel pump work?

Thanks, in advance.

I think orig the unit was in the most forward location.

Any of those will work, they all tap into the main oil gallery that runs down that side of the engine.

Except the plug just below the freeze plug of course. That's the block water drain.:-X18

You can "T" fitting the original location and install the electric and mechanical gauges!

Thanks. I'll see if I can get that one to turn. Would like to avoid t-fittings and other adapters--fewer opportunities for leaks!

I just used pipe thread sealer. No leaks so far}>
