Parts source shifter and brake boots 70s f 600

Nothing in google

Does anyone have a source for shifter boots and e-brake boots for 73-79 ford f600's?

I can custom make them but I would much rather prefer to buy them if possible

Thanks

Uhaul has been selling off old f600 stuff on eBay.

Thanks....
Will look for those

A member has repos on here but they aren't exact matches

So.. there are few old stock sources and most of the after market stuff is way off. Uhual didnt have anything...their f600 stuff is getting sparce

I did find a dana 20 shift boot that is close in size so I ordered one up for the ebrake # 5353263.. Ill let everyone know how they fit... about 16.00

Shifter boots are easy.. if you cant find a new old stock.. great.. I have one but I want three so all my f600s have nice new boots... there are plenty of choices out there that will easily cover the hole in a sano manner

I like this one
Dorman 924-5405 Shift Boot

Its huge.. but will easily do the job.. about 25.00

way better than 60 plus dollars for repos.. that arent exact fit...

Ill report on the results so everyone can have some value options

thanks

Gee whiz, haven't you obtained the parts catalog yet?

7277 - Trans shift lever boot: Notice that 1979 (D7TZ-7277-A) is different than 1973/78 (D5TZ-7277-A). Both available NOS

THanKs bill

I do have thAt dang parts manual but it takes a ford parts guy to read it...:)

Ok.. brake lever boot

This is what Im using.. a dana 20 boot.. note how close it is.. so close it could be a clone.. except better made and more heavy duty rubber.. about 16.00 Crown automotive part number J5353263

The original is on the right (obviously) the new dana 20 boot on the left.. the trim ring is on it and fit perfectly... the picture is a little misleading.. they are actually very close in size with the new boot being slightly longer.. but that extra length is hidden under the trim ring... it will make an excellent seal

Bill.. my factory boots dont match the descriptions at all (one on the 73 and one on the 79 2wd's.. exactly the same (even my 79 4 x 4 is the same)

MEASURING THE FACTORY BRAKE BOOT is as follows
8 1/2 inches long by 4 1/2 inches wide,, tip to tip and width to width
The screw holes are 3 3/8 inches wide center to center
and 7 1/2 inches long center to center...

Yes they are available old stock (limited),, and one of the parts numbers is very reasonable,, the others are from expensive nos places.. 45.00 and up..
