Mini Maxx Tuner

Hey guys just purchased my first Diesel Truck, its a 2011 F-350 Dually with the 6.7. I farm so it will be used for towing, hauling fuel/tools/etc. The truck came with a Mini Maxx Tuner which has 3 settings Tow, Street, and Performance. For everyday driving not towing anything what is the best setting for fuel economy? Also the tuner stays on after the truck is turned off, can it be wired to turn off with the ignition?

Ya you can wire into a ignition, mine came with a fuse tap, just plugs into a certain fuse. Do you have the upfitter switches? I wired my mini to #3, turns on and off with the truck. Best mpg will be on performance, but don't tow on that setting, I tow only on stock or tow setting depending on the weight.

Synthetic Oil

Thanks for the info, very helpful. I'm a big fan of Mobil One Synthetic Oil, I see they have 0W-40, 0W-30, 5W-40, 15W-40. The conditions where I live range from +30 Celcius to -40 Celcius, which of those choices would be the best? Thanks in advance...

I run the 5-40 Rotella syn in the winter. Sometimes I'll run 15-40 in the summer. Hits -40 often up here in the winter, truck seems to do well with the 5-40.
