Low idle and stalls
 

hello my name is Vince i have a 2006 F150 5.4 that has some issues. the truck at low rpm's will start to shake and then will die. this only happens when its at low RPM's like pulling into parking spots. does anyone have any information about this problem? i have heard it could wither be a bad alternator or there is scaring on the cam shafts? any adive or knowledge on this problem is greatly appreciated. thank you. when it idles low it will almost sound like a diesel truck. the dealership says it could be scaring on cam shafts?

if you idle normal with your a/c off and not turning the wheel so no additional accessories are putting stress on the engine then it could be your IAC valve (idle air control)
