Lift is being installed today...

So, I just dropped off the rig at the shop for the 8-inch lift, new wheels, and new tires. The before and after shots will follow...

Can't see the pictures.

What kind of lift?

dmallen 05-09-2014 01:30 PM

Don't have the "after" pictures yet. I decided to go with an 8-inch FabTech lift, with 18-inch Fuel D557 Anza wheels, and 38-inch Toyo Open Country M/T tires.

Well played sir. Can't wait to see pictures!

That should look killer.

I just LOVE the look of lifted white trucks.

So, now the wife is complaining that she can't get in and out of the rig because it's too high. :-X04 All joking aside, are there any good steps out there that drop around 9 inches? I was hoping for those powered steps, but they just don't seem to drop low enough. Any suggestions? Thanx.

I got the bully universal ones. I'm always skeptical about anything that says "universal fit" but they worked perfectly. They use a screw on the top holes into the body, and a bolt through the step and pinch weld strip - I'm pushing 250lbs and they hold me just fine.
