what are cost effective ways to boost horsepower on my 7.3 powerstroke?
 

Hey guys, I just bought a 99 F-250 with 146,000 miles on her. She is quuite lifted with 35in tires. The engine looks great but I can see that the previous owner removed some after market items he had installed (i.e. exhaust break, guage cluster, 5th wheel) but one problem I have is he tuned the engine but didnt include the tuner when he sold it to me. How do i put it back to stock so that I can get my DP Tuner in this bad boy? Also what are some other ways to boost the HP that wont break the bank?

I did cold air intake and 4" stainless duals, with edge tuner. Woke up my 99 7.3

Your going to have to take it to the ford dealer and have them reflash the PCM, then you can install your dp tuner. Though I would think that if he kept the tuner when he sold you the truck he would have returned the truck to stock so he could use the tuner again.
