Easy enough. There is some exposed wiring somewhere that when wet shorts throwing false warnings. All three lights tie into ABS/Traction Control, which is Multiplexed into the PCM.
Since you didn't specify it doing it in rain, I'd assume something under the hood were water drains when the vehicle is at rest. FYI, that little yellow wrench is Ford's cheap way of saying Seek Service Soon. It'll come on for any and everything including when service is due. It's a basic Malfunction Indicator Light and it trips when an issue in a system needs dealership attention. There should be hard, inactive codes in your PCM that will point to the ABS having a short somewhere. |
wrench light
Thx! Great info.would the wrench light come on @150,000 mi automatically when ford suggests trans fluid change.
