13 EB f150 sct tuner cooling fan issues?
 

bought a 3015 tuner for my truck to correct the speedo from the new wheels and tires and to add a bit of power. currently using the 87 octane tune and notice it runs the cooling fan ALOT.

temperature gauge always reads normal, no signs of overheating no driveability issues either.

called sct and they said that its in the programming in the pre loaded tunes tend to run the cooling fans alot since the tunes were created in florida and its hot there :-huh BUT they are going to release an update that fixes the fan running so much

it was in the upper 30s today in northern va, i can only imagine how much the fans will run when its 100 out and i'm sitting in bumper to bumper traffic with the ac blasting.

of course the sct tech said it wasn't detrimental to the truck, there's no option to control the fans via the 3015 tuner either.

anyone else notice this?

mine does the same, runs all the time and I live in fl. but still if don't need to run that much.... should run all the time with the AC on.

If you use a custom tune on you sct tuner the tuner can regulate the fan for you.
