OT - What to see Car/Truck in Calif.
 

My wife and I are taking the motor home west down I-10 to Calif this year. Going to head up through Calif to Oregon and Wash. state.

We'll be doing the regular tourist stuff, but I'd also like to see some car/truck/hot rod/racing stuff. What's the best museums or car collections to see out on the left coast?

Petersen museum in LA, NHRA museum in Pamona, Ca and LeMay museum in Tacoma, Wa. All are excellent.

When are you going? If it fits the schedule I would go to the Pomona Swapmeeet which, I believe, is every three months or so. No way to describe it besides HUGE! West Coast's Largest Swap Meet & Classic Car Show | Pomona Swap Meet

If you like exotics, this is n Oxnard: Mullin Automotive Museum

It's a Bugatti museum. Problem with them though is they're only open a very limited time - usually just a couple of days a month.

I am right off IH 10 ( known as "the San Bernadino fwy" ) about 100 miles east of LAX, you can boondock at my country place if you want to.
