What to do

I have a 1998 F150, had this truck for just shy of 200,000 miles, never a major problem and now she's killing me. Turn the key, no crank,no start, the same time this started the radio also quit working. I can start her with a screw driver at the soleniod (new by the way) runs perfect after that. I would greatly appreciate any help. By the way it's a 2 wheel drive with the 4.6 v-8, Thank you in advance

Start switch on the steering column, or the Neutral safety switch at the transmission.
The start circuit goes through this path.
Lights the dash etc.
Suspect the ignition switch but check for voltage at the start relay, the same place you test cranked it from while some one operates it for you.
The key operates a rod to move the switch on the column
Look at this operation closely and the switch condition.
Look at the arm mounting on the shifter tube to see bolt is tight.
If not, the Neutral switch could be out of position and open the start circuit.
Good luck..
