Tapered Brake pads

I'm having an issue with my outer brake pads being tapered to where there is at least 1/6 more pad at the top than the bottom. i have had this issue with the old calipers and as well with the new calipers and pads. I have cleaned the pin slide groves with a wire wheel on my Dremel. And used Brake hardware grease on the slides and still i have the problem.

What else should i check or do????

Check the rotors for warpage?

I think i found the issue. while going to check the rotors i noticed the bearing preload was almost non existent. so i reset the preload and there is no wobble in the rotor anymore.
And my friends wonder why im paranoid about letting other people work on my trucks without me there.
