1988 7.3idi died in driveway......

have a 1988 F350 7.3 idi that just died has no power won't turn over, no lights, no clicking at solenoid no radio no nothing. Turns out worker when hooking up a curtis snow plow when put the pin in it arced....worker went to drive away and it died there so either the plow pump power was hitting the frame or they wired the solenoid backwards. Anyway on the drivers side firewall under the hood is a ground that was burnt up this fixed the headlight issue. Now the lights work but i still can't get it to turn over i tested the batteries, starter and relay and they are all fine. Any ideas on what it could be? battery grounds are fine did i maybe pop a fusable link as well by the starter relay?

any ideas on what to look for would be appreciated.

oh no right before the storm too! (i see your profile shows CT.)
yes.i would quickly go right to suspecting burnt out fuseable links right there at the solenoid.since it's been a couple hours,i bet you found the issue was just this by now and your ready to plow.....hopefully.
good luck!

thankfully its a backup truck its still sitting there going to work on it now. Do know that ground for the lights on the firewall will fix the light issue going to put a new one on. Don't think it has anything to do with starting though so it has to be a fusable link on the passenger side burnt out as well. Seems like the curtis plow pump power cable somehow hit the frame which caused the arcing and a backfeed power problem which burnt up that ground and probably the fusable link. Will let you know what i find today if its just those two things we lucked out.
