Need some help wiring!

I was just working on connecting an addition fuse panel (6 slots) onto my 62f100. Since the auxiliary items i want to add do not need to run "hot" I connected the panel to the ignition switch to "key" them.

I need to connect items such as windshield washer reservoir and possibly put on a pair of reverse lights with a switch in the cab.

Where is an appropriate spot to ground these items? Should I ground each addition to the body separately or from a ground wire?

Still new with automotive wiring so trying to figure it all out. Fuse panel definitely works! (Tested it by just grounding the ground wire of the reservoir to the battery) Just need some help finding an appropriate ground location!

Thanks!!!

I would not connect an additional fuse panel to the ignition switch. That switch is really old and was marginal when new. Do this. Connect a 18 gauge wire from the ignition switch through a 40 amp Bosch relay to ground (the screw you use to mount the relay will work). Connect the relay to at least a 14 gauge wire hot taken from the large black power wire coming from the battery from the output side of the relay to your fuse panel. Here's how it works. Ignition switch provides 12v almost 0 amps to switch the relay on and off. When the relay is on it completes the circuit from the black wire (12 gage I think)to the fuse panel. At the fuse panel you can feed whatever accessory you want. The fluid pump for the windshield washer draws a pretty good load.

Perfect thanks so much. Gonna try to get this to go together tomorrow!
