6.0 Tach Signal

On my cummins swap I am going to machine slots in the edge of the water pump pulley to generate the necessary 58 pulses per engine RPM. I can't use the Destroked kit because I am using a 2007 harmonic balancer and the OD is too large for the tone ring. The Destroked sensor will work but it might be a little bulky and it doesn't look like they sell the sensor as a stand alone part. I talked to a supplier to my work about a prox sensor and he wanted to know if it is NO or NC and also if the sensor is a NPN or PNP? Anybody know the answers? How about the cummins or ford sensors will they work? I have looked closely at the 6.0 motor out of my truck and see no crank or cam sensors where are they located?
Thanks

67 Views and nobody can say where the 6.0 crank or cams sensors are? I better move this one to the SD forum.

The crank sensor is on the right side of the motor towards the front. The cam sensor is on the left side behind the lower radiator house outlet.
