Summit/Walker tail Pipe

I found this tail pipe on Summit for about $14.95. With shipping it is only about $28. I was considering using duals and run them both out the same side. These would get me over the axle, so the rest is just a straight shot and through a muffler. Is it worth it to use dual?

I believe it would simply be cost prohibitive to have the header coated, so I'm most likely back to the efi manifolds, or changing the carb because of heat issues, and going with a small starter.

I used the 2.5" version of this pipe on both of my Broncos. It made the installation so easy.
I imagine you could put them side by side to do duals out one side (which is a cool idea). One would just stick out a few inches further than the other, so it'd need to be trimmed. I could see it working.

But, with EFI manifolds, and a 2.5" exhaust from the Walker pipe, 2.5" muffler, 2.5" cat, and the 2.5" tailpipe, I've been more than happy with it on both my Broncos.

The 2.5" single out is probably more than adequate. The duals are a nice touch but don't really add anything to the performance. Way back in the day before V8s became all the rage split manifolds on an I6 were bitchin'...lots of rap and crackle were to be had.:-X03

I've heard it said that

combining or crossing the two are also good..not sure from my own experience yet..

In my 85' Bronco (351w) I used a two in>one out magnaflow to unite them..it works great for a 351HO install. If/when I put a 300 in the Bronco I'll likely retain the magnaflow and utilize the two in.(custom bent from manifolds)..and ONE out that now exists. Judging by the way this setup works now,, I can't see the point in making any changes muffler back...

WOW that's cheap, that said IMO true duals are lame. Some may like the sound but it's not good for power or economy and I don't like the sound. But I think 2 of those with a dual in dual out single muffler placed as far forward on the rig as it will fit is quite practical.
