Want bench seat in front of my Sport Trac
 

Hey guys. I would like to know if I could fit a bench seat in front instead of the bucket seats. I was thinking maybe one from a same year model Ranger might work.
Any ideas or info?

I can't confirm anything for your swap. I would just go to the u-pull-it type junkyard and try to do the swap. That's what I did when I swapped from a bench seat to the captain's chairs in the second row in my Aerostar. Some of the mounting provisions may be hidden. Pay particular attention to how the seat belts hook up, both on the bench and where the upper metal "loop" (I don't know the proper name for it) is located. You may need to bring the seatbelts over from the Ranger. You'll also have to worry about the seat belt light connectors. I'm assuming you don't care about anything else you might lose from the swap like power adjustments or you wouldn't be doing this.

If your Sport trac is Gen1 - 01-05 a bench seat from a ranger edge truck should fit
