Here's an old sign; the pic is kind of crappy, it was a cell phone pic on maximum zoom. I'll try to get a better pic the next time I'm out in that part of the state

wow, great pictures guys.

here is a 48-50 f2 and f-3 with short stakebed sitting in a back yard I found yesterday. a 47 behind an old abandoned building and the f-1 I hauled home along with a Merc Flathead mounted in the chassis .

have a bunch more pictures of past explorations to post as well. Like Bobby said, this will be a great thread! :-X06

here are a few more, I've posted these before but this seems like a deserving thread and place to repost!

ok, ,this one isn't exactly abandoned and it represents a group of one vehicle. the original "wait" has passed away, the "son" is now elderly, the grandson now owns the truck, he's about 60. he almost put this on the road when he was in high school. he used it to haul firewood until he had a tranny problem a few years ago. i've encouraged him many times to do something with it. the truck was covered with a coating of ice when i took these pics. you may see my 01 PT lurking in one of the photos.

Interestng that '59/60 Ford has an old Pontiac hood ornament on it. I found one last Summer, too. I'll add a couple pics of it, only cuz it's the car I've been looking for, for a very long, long time. I'll remove the pics if you want me to.

Those two Kansas City 55's look like they need saving.

All of these pics bring a tear to my eye... Their all wasting away. I know of a guy up near Prescott Valley that has some twenty to thirty old cars and trucks on his property, he has a sign "Vehicles Not For Sale"...

Love all the pics. Hate these things are rusting away. If I had Bill Gates money I'd have to rescue them.

This was my dad's old '38 Ford farm truck......the truck I learned to drive in. Dad bought it in '42, it was parked in that spot in '76 and hasn't moved since.
