1966 F100 Ford Ranger
 

I have this truck I restored/refreshed. I'm curious what you think about it. It's original colors are as built. It's fun to drive. Not a LB fan, but it's cool. I'm trying to sell it. Not sure if I'm in the right price range or not. But I think I'm close. Numbers matching.

Very nice looking ranger. They have been popping up all over the place lately. I really like the colors of the truck catches my eye. Try posting this in the classifieds section of this site. Good luck with the sale. And no such thing as numbers matching with these trucks that's for the Chevy and Mopar crowd.

(With Ford products, there is, nonetheless, date matching of components -- engines, trans, carbs, etc. -- with the chassis's production date.)

Yes- I guess I meant original motor. But thanks for clearing that up for me.

Price is a tough issue with these trucks. The desirability is limited and there is a very small niche that has cash in hand for this type of vehicle.

Nice job on the rebuild, I hope you get your money back.

If I would take a Stab at it on Price & if you put it on EBAY AUCTION STYLE you could probably get $18,000 to $20,000 with no problems at all. In my Humble Opinion... Although I like 50's Trucks this one looks GREAT... Good Job on it & you should get some nice $$$ for it. GOOD LUCK !!!:-drink

Your pricing seems just about right for this quality and type of vehicle. To the "right person" ( which will take longer to find ), it appears to be a bargain. You probably already know all the hassles involved in restoring a vehicle, some buyers simply don't have the time, patience, tools, facility and parts to tackle any restoration on their own. Farming the work out on a project type vehicle gets expensive and you really don't know what the final tally will be till its done. More and more classic car people are discovering nicely restored pickups to be much more reasonably priced compared to other 2 doors.

Agreed; it appears to be a beautiful truck to my taste & opinion as well. Nevertheless, typically, to get your $$ back out of it is -- 'a tuffy'.
