hi all new here and ? on interchangeable years for parts

Hi all my friends call me MJ. I had the pleasure of picking up a 1993 F350 this week. I am looking to see if anyone knows if the front fenders are the same on F250 & F350 from that year. Or what year F350's are interchangeable part wise for it. It has the 460ci 7.5L motor in it. I have sent in for the build sheet for this truck to see how it came stock. It is currently a flat bed with a plow.

Thank You for taking the time to read my post.

MJ

welcome to FTE.
92 to 97 F-150, F-250, f-350, and F-superduty all body parts are the same

Cool!

I wasn't sure. I need to order the 2 front fenders on my 93 f350 and LMC only goes up to the f250 for ford trucks. I will also have to order some other parts for the front clip. This will make it so much easier to find the parts :D

if you want to explore used parts, i find Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market a very useful site.
we use it all the time at the body shop.

MJ - in the F150 the fenders and other parts do NOT fit in the 97 year the body style changed in 96 in the F-150's

In 97 the F-150 and F-250(light duty) changed to the newer body style. But the 97 F-250 Heavy Duty and the F-350 had the same body style as the 92-96 trucks.

didn't ford change the 8 lug wheel rim size in 1996/1995?

Wow! I have been in other forums for different trucks and I would almost never get a response back. You all rock in this group here. Thank You for the info and lead on used parts website. I am going to be popping out to look at my "beast" so named by the wife. This summer I am going to be pulling the motor and having it rebuilt as this truck was road hard and put away salty with no wash. So the front bumpers, grill and everything the grill would attach to is just about gone due to rust. But the cab has escaped that fate some how. The block on the 460 looked good from what I could see it just leaks everywhere and both gas tanks are toast as well. I learned my trucks birthday was January 27, 1993 and I intend on giving my truck a good birthday for a change since it looks like it never had one ever!

Correct if I'm wrong, but did't some of the trucks around 97-2000 have 7 lug rims? Or did they come later?

tjc transport 01-16-2014 04:53 PM

yes, the F250 ld, and the F- 150 7700 had 7 lug rims. the full size trucks were all 8 lug though.
