07 miss firing?
 

I'm stumped and looking for some help. I have a 2007 expedition with 110,000 miles on it and it starting running very rough yesterday. I had driven the truck yesterday for about an hour and half with no issues. On my home I was really low on fuel and filled it up. After filling it up, I drove home (5miles) again with no issues. Later in the day my wife took it out and returned immediately because it was running so rough and the check engine light came on, she only made it down the block. I drove it up to the parts store and here are codes they pulled - P0022,P0018,P0305,P0300,P0307 & P0316. So here is where it gets weird, I leave the parts stores and the truck runs perfect so I do some running around with no issues. When I get home I disconnect the battery to clear the codes. Later last night I take it out and it immediately starts acting up again so this morning I run back to the parts store and it now only shows code P0018. Again, I leave the store after pulling the codes and the truck runs fine. I changed the plugs 10,000 miles ago and there have been no other issues until this.... Any ideas? Thanks in advance

That code shows as a crankshaft position sensor.

if the crankshaft sensor was bad wouldn't it no start or run bad all the time?

Take it to a mechanic you trust. That many codes there might be something serious. People who replace sensors based on codes usually end up taking it in anyway.

a bad or intermittent signal from your crank sensor can definitely cause your misfires/misfire codes (P0305,P0300,P0307 & P0316). if your pcm can't determine the correlation between cam and crank, then it doesn't have a hot clue when to fire your coils/injectors.
