New season, new thread! We apparently got between 6-8" of snow last night. I just put up some snow fence yesterday to deal with it... Be interesting to see how the lane drifted or not since I got rid of the old hog wire that was there for several decades... I get to start the official winter with a nasty ol' cold that is really taking me down today. How's everyone doing out across the upper midwest?

Last Sunday of 2013...kinds weird. Enjoy everyone!

Heading out to South Dakota for a few days, then it is back to work... My time off has not been doing what i wanted, but in the end, I benefit. My office area is getting split off to have a guest room now, but have an occupant for it already... A friend was nearly homeless, and as we have no spare bedroom, he has been staying in an old RV my sister has. With the blow zero temps, it hasn't been heating so well, so we have been working on getting an area enclosed, insulated and electrified. It is enclosed, partially electrified, now to get the insulation.

Looks like I will be running the south route home... Not looking to run through several inches of snow...

Morning Roger. You guys have snow there? We may get some overnight.

They have been getting snow yesterday, then are to get more tonight and tomorrow. I'm up to Huron, SD right now, so looks like I will be heading back tomorrow through Sioux City and Des Moines. I came up through Minnesota, which as is typical, quite the "treat" in the winter running 90 across southern Minnesota... :rolleyes:

I didn't catch on to the seasonal forum thing, I see why the summer one got so slow! :-X19
