Just wondering if ford ever offered the 460 in the short bed 2wd?

Yes. I have a 74 460 2wd swb truck. Several people have told me it had to be ordered from the factory in order to have the 460 in a 2wd shortbed.

I've heard that back in the day you could special order darn near any combo you could think up from the factory. If only it was still that way today.
