That's a nice setup, and you could make half your investment back with hauling 3 or 4 California cars back East with you when you fly to California to get it!

What are you waiting for? if you happen to pass through Utah on the way home give me a shout and I'll buy ya a Coffee, or lunch brunch or dinner. :-drink

edit; if I was in the market for something like that and my driveway was a tad bit longer I would consider that. :)

Considering my own 2008 F-250 with the same 6.4 diesel engine and only 75K miles had its oil cooler go down this past week (requiring the dealership to remove the cab to fix), I'm gonna refrain from voting. ;) That price seems to be high for an unfinished truck and that particular trailer.

I'm sure you know this, but these trucks are mighty expensive to own and maintain.

These were my EXACT thoughts, When I'd get back home I'd have a "honey hole" of parts

And this is EXACTLY what has me scared! Have the trailer loaded with 2-3 trucks and all the parts I can strap down, then have a breakdown.

Look for an F-450 with the 7.3L, even if it has massive miles on it... JMO

I saw a take three around here recently. I think it was around 4-5k which i thought seemed like a good price but i hadnt really ever looked at them before so dont know what they go for. It looked fairly new too.

When/if you get the truck, drive a few hours north to my place and buy me out of all of my 48-52 parts inventory. You'll be busy for years selling it off! :)

Everyone I talk to say to run from the 6.4, so I guess its a no on this one

Well I had a 6.0. That was a disaster. I currently have a 6.4. It's better than the 6.blow, but obviously has its problems too. But I'm not sure the grass is any greener with the new ones. The 6.7 is starting to have similar issues as well.......
