'07 Lincoln LT 5.4 Tranny Question
 

My wife's 2007 Lincoln LT 5.4 has been a really good truck. I have Mike's 5 Star at the 87 performance/tow setting and it has 65k. I just towed a 6k utility trailer 2,000 miles from Texas to Idaho and it never had a hickup.

It needs a tranny flush and filter change. I am thinking of adding a Transgo shift kit. I assume it is a R4100 tranny. Has anyone done the Transgo mod? Please advise, thanks. I am also going to change plugs. Thanks.

Well, I changed the plugs and did a tranny service plus I added a Transgo shift kit. Wow, what a difference in shifting. I had already added Mike's 5 Star programmer in the 87 performance/tow and it runs great. I highly recommend the Transgo shift kit and Mike's programmer, a great combination.
