I've heard it called upstate, what does that actually mean? Or maybe I should say what part of Sc does it encompass? Inquiring mind have to know.

Sounds good. I'm in and out all the time. Traveling quite a bit. I'm headed to Florida next week. The weather was about 28 degrees this am.

Upstate is the Upper part of a state. People call it the Upcountry too. I used to live in the LowCountry of South Carolina. People called it the slow country. Glad to be out of there... lol

Here's a map of the Upstate: I live in Greenville County.

Ok. Thanks for enlightening me. Makes sense basically runs the I 85 corridor. I have heard of the low country boils and other good cooking of that region.

56fordfella, you must not be from SC lol. I'm from Summerville which is just outside of Charleston. About 1 1/2 hours from Myrtle Beach

From I-85 to Flat Rock, NC on I-26 is one of my favorite stretches to drive. Awesome for test and tunes--LOL.

No I'm a Ga. native. Love Charleston tho, its been years since I was last there, lets see... I think it was after Hugo? Made a mess of the place, but I'm sure it's not like that now.
npccpartsman, that's a pretty stretch along I-26.
