1995 Lightning intake phenolic spacer

Does anyone have any info about a phenolic spacer for the Lightning intake? I just recently purchased a 95 and it has a spacer below the upper intake.

what do you want to know about it?
its not stock. any gt40 spacer works, most guys run them when they want to put aftermarket valve covers on the truck.

^ Agreed. They're mainly used to gain a little extra clearance between the upper and lower intakes so taller valve covers may be used. However, the hot exhaust gases may burn a hole through it, over time, if the EGR port in the lower intake hasn't been plugged.
