Icon 2.5"

Just wondering if anyone is running the Icon 2.5" on a superduty 6.2. I had one on my old 08 SD and loved it. I will probably put one on my 13, but i wanted to make i wouldn't run into any problems. I saw a guy running a Carli 4.5, but didnt find a 6.2 with the Icon.

Anyone have any info or experience with the icon?

It's the same front end, I don't see why it wouldn't work. I guess the only issue would be the CAT, but I think those issues are for lifts over 4 inches.

Thanks, i thought the same but wanted to make sure. Maybe the front will sit a little higher on the gas than the diesel, but not sure. I may try to give them a call just to make sure.

If anyone has had good experience with any other 2.5" kit please feel free to chime in.

Interested in this as well - ride quality and tire size. Icon says 34" max but thinking you can get 35" under there.

Is it worth it to purchase the adjustable pan rod bar as well?

The ride quality on my 08 was great, I loved the Icon. That's why it was my first choice when I decided to go with another 2.5" kit. I just wanted to make sure nothing would be different with the gasser and hopefully someone with some first hand experience would chime in. I would think 35's would fit easily as they are close to that stock I believe. Hopefully someone will chime in to help us out a little and give some good info.:-drink

I guess I would ask why you would pay the cash for a true lift if you are only going 2.5? I took my 2013 down to my local guy and had a 2" level put in the front and then had him change out the rear blocks from the stock 2" to 4" effectively giving me 2" on all four corners and retaining the factory ride feel. I actually think it drives better and I no longer have the steering pump wine that came with the factory geometry. Readjusted the wheel to be dead square again and was down the road for about $500. It looks a ton better than stock, gets me out of the weeds, and will balance the 35" i will most likely put on it. YMMV but I could not be happier with how it turned out.

All i want is 2.5, i would like to go taller but i have 4 goosenecks that i pull and think the 2.5 will do a lot better than anything taller. I had it on my 08 and loved the look and ride quality i got from the new shocks. I drive on really bad rodes around where i work and live so retaining a good ride is my main concern. I know what i will be getting with the icon and thats why i was planning on going that route, but as stated above, if anyone has any other suggestions on another 2.5 kit im open to suggestions.

For anyone that happen to be interested, I gave Icon a call and they said everything should work without any probs, it just may sit about a 1/2" higher in the front due to the 6.2 not having the extra weight that the diesel has.
