Supercharger

Thinking about putting on a Supercharger. I would like to get some pro/con feedback from anyone who has done this already. Also which one to go with Whipple/Kenne Bell/Paxton?

Besides the S/C is there anything else needed to make it all work and perform right. Will it do any damage to the engine?

I asked the same question but regarding to a turbo. Everything I saw was no more than 5psi on a stock motor. I'd just make sure the trans is in good shape and make sure the rearend is good maybe even regear it. There is a post on here about someone lookin at a v10 truck with a whipple S/C they had some comments that might help you out some.

Pros: They add a lot of power and fun.
Cons: Everything from the engine on back won't last as long. You'll also burn more gas. How much more depends on how much fun you have.

I'm just curious, are you interested in a SC for fun, or for towing capability/performance?

For fun...I get it.
For performance, I personally think there are better avenues to get the desired gains. 5star tuning jumps to the top of my list, followed by re-gearing.
