What did you do to your rig today?
Y'all know the drill, I'll start it off, I filled mine up and got a mossy oak air freshener
Welded the first patch panel on the 67.
Washed mine yesterday, sure did need one..
Took the bed liner out and fixed the rattling sound ( lug nut rolling around behind the hub cap) And I cleaned it out haha
Washed all of the damn salt off of it yesterday. Geezus, Omaha puts that crap down like it's free!
Took the grille off my Ranger and washed it and painted it to match the truck... Soon to take my mirrors off and paint them white... Really want to take my bumpers off and put roll pans in
taking the tranny out, replacing the slave cyl, changing fluid in the rear diff...
New breakes all the way around and finally broke down and bought a new trailer brake controller. Mine was goin on 12 yrs old. And i like the new digital.
Filled the front tank, and tried to fix my under hood light. Still need a switch, but I replaced the corroded/ broken terminals in the wiring harness.

Ordered parts for the Dana 44 front axle, the one I took out of the 79 parts truck, that will be going under the 67.
I put on a new belt! Not the same size but one closer to how it should fit. It's a custom size because of the air pump delete.
Not all today but this week so far reinstalled the rear glass,
put in seat belts per my wife's kind request, put on a new alternator belt, adjusted the hood latch so the hood no longer bounces around while I'm driving up highway 6, tried securing the spare tire holder in the bed because the bottom of it is rusted completely through, it will hold for now but I need a new one. And finally I'm trying to decide the best way to fix the bed because the front part of it is rusted completely through and the support is rusted through too! I'm thinking about doing a 2x8 Wood bed over the existing metal one... any ideas on this front are welcomed! Bed And Support Rusted Out Photo by tssteinbach | Photobucket |
What a wonderful day today!
I power washed the engine compartment and under carriage. Then washed the rest of the truck. All cleaned up and ready for work. :-X22 |
Changed the oil in Black, and gave her a well deserved bath!
Opened both wing windows and pointed them at me and had both door windows all the way down! Had to enjoy it while it lasted.
