Engine perch advice for FE in 4x4

I need some 390 engine perches for my 1977 F250 CC 4x4. I bought some from a 1972 4x4 with 360 and thought everything was great but the frames seem to be quite different between the 2 trucks (didn't expect that actually). I've heard that I-6 frame mounts will work for 390's in 2wd trucks - anyone know if the I-6 perches from a 1977-79 4x4 will work for my application?

Thanks!
James

Apparently it's an F250 thing

After doing some field research today I see that my problem is that the F250 frame (post-highboy) is what is different. Based on this then I think the best option would be an I-6 mount from a 77.5-79 F250 4x4.

This, I imagine, is about as rare and difficult to obtain as the 4x4 oil pan/pickup for the 360. Probably worse. This looks like it will be a "make it fit" operation.

If anyone has any experienced input I would appreciate it.

Not the best way but it works good.

I like that. I've resigned myself to making new ones and that looks great! Thanks!

Well it took a couple hours but worked just fine - thanks!
