I got a gas cap loose warning today and I think it wasn't tight but now how do you reset the warning light. Mine has a normal gas cap.

from page 194 of my owners manual:
" The check fuel cap light or Check fuel cap message may not reset immediately; it may take several driving cycles for the indicators to turn off. A driving cycle consists of an engine start-up (after four or more hours with the engine off) followed by normal city and highway driving." |
Thanks I didn't look that far into the manual or didn't think it would be in that section. We are sitting in a casino parking in Laughlin hooked up so it will be a few days before we drive the truck agian.

After about 45 min into our move the light went out, I'm glad it did or I would have had disconnect my aux fuel tank to make sure that wasn't the problem.
