my brother in law has done most of the mechanical/body work on my truck. our friend neil did the engine tear down and rebuild. doc and i help out. neil's wife feeds us when we have a work session. these are the thank you gifts i made for them. neil's frame is my old ring gear. kenny's is the flex plate from his 700R4. the hub caps are undamaged and can be reused by just peeling off the decorations. they were well received. i used to make clocks out of hubcaps etc with battery op clocks with hands. didn't want to drill holes in the caps and stick on digital seemed more current.

Very nice thought. We sometimes forget to say thank you to those that help us enjoy our hobby. I've helped out a few friends around here and they usually repay me by giving me a hard time :D

Nicely done, Dick! Is that first one a flexplate or flywheel?! A flywheel would take a hell of a nail!

it is indeed a flex plate. i did drill a hole in it to hang it, it's already hanging in my brother in laws house. guess i've got to make him another one for the garage.
